If There's No Tomorrow by Jennifer L. Armentrout digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

"Beautiful, real, and devastating…this book will forever have a spot on my all-time favorites shelf."
—Sarah J. Maas, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Throne of Glass[

From the New York Times bestselling author of The Harbinger Series

Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year.

She’s ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. The upcoming year is going to be epic—one of opportunities and chances. Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.

Now Lena isn’t looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.

For what she let happen.

Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when her entire existence has been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn’t even guaranteed?

“Gut-wrenchingly REAL. I have so many thoughts that it’s going to be difficult to make sense of them all here, but I’m going to try. Oh. My. WORD. This book. Man, this book. I just…I am just overflowing with gratitude that this book fell into my hands. What a read. What a story. What a message. Wow. I DEVOURED this read in only a few hours. I couldn’t put it down. I cried, I chuckled, and I stared into space as I pondered the contents of this story. Profound, truly profound. I wish with all of my heart that I had found this book at sixteen years old after suffering the loss of my, only two weeks younger, girl cousin from a car accident. This book so honestly and deeply captures what it’s like to live with/through survivor’s guilt as a teen. Grief is such a vast concept that it can be very difficult to accurately portray for any artist, and yet Armentrout depicts it so wholly in this novel. All at once, as I read, I was thrust back to those first months after loss. I was thrust back to the nightmares, the panic attacks, and the overwhelming feeling that it wasn’t fair that I was getting to continue living when my cousin was not. This book and its contents healed parts of me that have remained untouched in the deepest depths of my being for five years; parts of myself that I didn’t even realize needed to feel seen and validated. This read transformed my heart and its contents wrapped me in one of the most comforting hugs I’ve ever known. Reading this novel was everything I needed without having the introspection to ever realize it. This book will go down in the history of my life as a top read. Much like “The Problem With Forever” by Armentrout, I expect to revisit this book yearly for as long as I need the comfort of its contents. I initially read the ebook version of this story, but I WILL be purchasing a physical copy as soon as possible. 5⭐️’s & 10/10. Every. Single. Time.”
