Cameron Bright is gorgeous, popular, and—according to 99% of Beaumont Prep’s student body—a b*tch. That doesn’t bother Cameron, who knows how important it is to be honest. Cameron’s apology tour begins with Brendan Rosenfeld, the guy whose social life she singlehandedly destroyed in the sixth grade. But earning his forgiveness requires befriending the school’s geeky crowd—which isn’t as easy as it looks. Soon, though, Cameron begins to see that her new friends bring out the best in her, especially Brendan, who views her honesty as an asset. Now Cameron’s left wondering if maybe she doesn’t have to compromise who she is for the kind of love she deserves.

“Extra special to me because I read it aloud to my girlgirl Betty. A cute lil YA chick flick!”
“I throughly enjoyed the book. I loved the characters and the mfc character arc, I love how well it fits into how teenagers may think or feel as well as the yearning.
However there is romance I feel as though it still lacked romance, there was enough for us to know they are a happy healthy couple but I feel like the small intimate moments were missing.”

Raised by a school librarian, Austin Siegemund-Broka has always had a passion for books, especially books for young people. He met and fell in love with Emily in high school and went to Harvard University as an undergraduate. He studied English (focusing on Shakespeare) and graduated magna cum laude in 2014. Recently, Austin worked as a journalist for The Hollywood Reporter. He is currently a UCLA law student; however there's nothing he loves like writing with Emily.
Emily Wibberley, whose parents are screenwriters, has loved writing and story-telling since an age she hardly remembers. Since meeting Austin (she says it was middle school--accounts vary), Emily attended Princeton University as an undergraduate, studied psychology, and graduated magna cum laude in 2014. While at Princeton, she wrote the first novel in her self-published YA fantasy trilogy, The Last Oracle, which was featured in USA Today and was a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
