“Spice: 3/5
I'm not exaggerating when I say, I WAS WAITING FOR THIS BOOK!
From the moment we met Brant and his history was revealed, I was waiting for him to get his HEA. Olympia is such a strong character and I was hoping that she'd also get her HEA. These two together were fantastic. So many funny moments between them throughout the book.
My main complaints with this book were 2 things.
First, Olympia used her gift like twice in this book. I barely remembered what her gift was by the end of the book because it wasn't used at all. The various gifts of the Wherlockes/Vaughns is one of my favorite parts of this series and I felt like it was underutilized in this book.
My second complaint is that the 3rd act "break up" was so unnecessary. They separate because Brant hasn't fully grieved, forgiven himself? Really?”
