“nope, just nope. synopsis had good potential, execution was not it. only got 20% in”
“3.5⭐️ In general, I’m not a huge fan of age gap romances. That said, I didn’t hate this one. As a matter of fact, I might’ve enjoyed it more if Rhode didn’t harp on their age difference as much as he did. (He’s 33, she’s 22.) I honestly wouldn’t have noticed if he didn’t bring it up so much. The fact of the matter was that he fell hard and fast for her, and she for him. It was their life goals that ultimately were the real obstacle. They figured it out. It ended the way I assumed it would. I enjoyed book two more than this one, but I’d recommend both as fun, spicy romance reads.”
