“"But what anyone thought if they saw her here didn't really matter anymore" Holly is from a middle class home where things are always the same. Her attraction to Jon at school makes her want to learn more about him...about the world as a whole. So she defies her mother and sets out on an adventure where she grows up a bit more and expands her world. How will she deal with things after this? Durian has got to be one of the most obnoxious things on earth IMHO, but at least I know what it is in part because I took a chance and tried it. ...never again! What Jann Everhard has done is challenge us to explore the world and expand it, and then change it if it needs to be different. Highly recommended.5/5”
