Hush Reviews

3.5
“Actual Rating - 3.5 It was a solid story but it could have had more world building in my opinion.”
“Read here: https://www.tor.com/2022/03/09/hush-mary-anne-mohanraj/”
“I am willing to admit to you that I read this solely because I wanted all evidence of my English class erased from my memory, and one of the short stories I had read for the class was my shortest book of the year... so obviously I had to replace it. No matter how this short story came into my reading journey, I'm glad it did! While it could have done with being a tad bit longer, I enjoyed the characterization of Jenny, and a look at how she chose to navigate this racist, futuristic world. I would love a full novella or novel of this concept, with a deeper look at the culture, as well as different alien species. I'd recommend this one! It is free on tor.com. Thanks Tor! It was a pleasure to read.”
