“I have been a longtime fan of Dana's books and this is my new favorite! This mystery of this one was so good, and I didn't want to put this one down until I devoured every page of it. This one pulled me in from the first page and it held my attention to the very last page. I loved finally getting Isaiah's story and seeing how Addison intrigued him from the start of the story, then add in Ollie who was completely adorable, this story was great! I received a copy of this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.”
“Read my full review: https://penspagesandpulses.wordpress.com/2023/09/28/hunted-at-christmas-by-dana-r-lynn/ Dana R. Lynn's Hunted at Christmas was a quick read that kept me on the edge of my seat as I rooted for these amazing characters. Addison Johnson Bruce wants to protect her son, Oliver. She has observed several unusual circumstances, and she is determined to do all she can for her Oliver's safety. I love how Addison is such a strong character and is able to think so clearly despite the more than stressful circumstances she is forced to deal with. Isaiah Bender is a good bounty hunter, but he doesn't expect to discover that the felon he's been tracking is actually an innocent victim. He wants to ensure the safety of Addison and her son when he discovers the danger they face. I love how he becomes a father to Oliver's son and how he obviously loves his family. His faith journey also seemed really realistic and believable (which I always love). I enjoyed how the author constructed the suspense to keep me reading, while still enjoying the story. The pacing was perfect, and, while the book touched on some heavy topics, it never became uncomfortably dark. Overall, I really enjoyed this fast paced Christian romance!!! I would highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys clean mysteries with great family themes! I received an ARC of this book from the author. My opinions are my own. A positive review was not required.”
“Wow!!! Another great book in the Amish Country Justice Series! I could not put this book down and read it all in one day! This is Isaiah Bender’s story in the Bender Siblings arc. There’s action, love, suspense, murder, and surprises. When single mother Addison Johnson is attacked by a hit man, she learns that there’s a price on her head. And Isaiah Bender—the bounty hunter hired to track her down for crimes she didn’t commit— is her only hope for survival. Protecting Addison and her young son (who has Type 1 Diabetes) from armed assailants means seeking refuge in Amish country. But when their holiday hideout is discovered is discovered, can he clear an innocent woman’s name and keep her alive?”
