“Maybe my favorite read of the year, my goodness I ate this up like I was so terribly hungry. Incredible pacing, twists, buildup and depth. I am very impressed by the author and this story, it is so relatable while being veiled as this otherworldly tale. My only small criticism would be the repetitive phrasing, certain words and similes are a bit overdone but I can absolutely overlook it for the sheer success of the emotions this book pulled out of me.”
