“Really enjoyed this first installment! I do feel like for having three remaining books, a lot of this seemed rushed. I liked the characters, the setting, the plot— but it would alternate between descriptive, well-paced parts to all of the sudden the trial is over, and we’re on to the next thing, and it’s over again 😅 I hope that the romance portion of the plot digs a bit deeper. I am excited to see how book two unfolds 📖 ✨”
