“I fell in love with horror novels, getting lost in the work of the masters King & Straub. I am continually in search of that same kind of feel,but it's so rare to find. It's fitting that both authors are mentioned in this book. It has the gritty feel of early King & the layered depth of Straub at his best. House of Skin is a multi-layered story that embodies everything I love about this genre. There are a fair number of authors hat write one or 2 great books amongst a large number of releases, but few hit the nail on the head more times than they miss. Janz is one of those few. Literally every book I've read from his work has contained greatness. I have a few from his bibliography left to explore, plus the upcoming release of Veil... and I'm excited for all of them!”
