“wow this was a lot. i thought it took too long to get good and the ending was crazy rushed. how is cassius gonna be dead for just a chapter? lol i literally didn’t have time to mourn cause it was so out of the blue and then it was over lol”Reviewed in:Paperback Besties Book Club

“I’m… shocked? happy? scared? I don’t know but i loved it. “This book has been in my shelves unread for a long time, but I’m so glad I finally read it. I was not expecting the plot to get as dark as it did since it’s a YA book but I loved it. If the romance wasn’t a driving factor is the main characters decision making I would have given it 5 stars.”Reviewed in:Paperback Besties Book Club

“Went into this fairly blind. Overall, it was a decent read! The story was fast paced and kept me wanting to know what was next, but the character's beliefs and actions often fell flat for me. A couple of examples: Annaleigh thinks she hallucinated Cassius but never questioned if she was just genuinely losing it, or when Camille jokes about killing Annaleigh in a family that is marred by continuous death...feels like lazy or not very well fleshed out writing to me.”Reviewed in:Paperback Besties Book Club
