House of Gilded Nightmares: An Enemies-to-Lovers Fantasy Romance (Dark Fae Guardian Book 1)
ByPublisher Description
A Shadow-Fae guardian, the future Queen of Nightmares, and the dark destiny they share…
Sarielle has lived behind the walls of the Amethyst Palace her whole life, training to one day become High Priestess of Eldare. But on the night of her initiation, a dark stranger—the man who’s appeared in her dreams for years—arrives to spirit her away to another realm.
Zyren, a shadow-fae lord, is her blood-sworn guardian. His job is not only to protect her, but to take her to the King of Nightmares, her betrothed, to claim her birthright as queen. And she’s not about to go quietly.
As Sarielle and Zyren traverse the treacherous Nightmare Realm, they’re hunted by terrifying monsters and enemy courts who want Sarielle as much as the king does. To escape her enemies, Sarielle will have to claim the dark power she was born with, a magic which is quickly unraveling the careful control she’s maintained her whole life. As is Zyren, who awakens a fiery longing for something she knows she can never have.
Because if she doesn’t claim her throne, she dooms not only her realm, but their entire world.
From the author of the bestselling City of Night duology comes a new tale in the connected Crowns of Aureon series. HOUSE OF GILDED NIGHTMARES is an enemies-to-lovers fae fantasy romance. It’s slow burn leading to a spicy finale and is the first in a series.

“This book got me back into reading after quite a slump. I absolutely adore Sarielle and I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here.
While sometimes the world building in this book is a bit rushed and focus is required to keep up with the lore, I respect that and fully understand it’s necessity: this is a complex and foreign world that our FMC is thrust into and must learn immediately. We learn it along with her so our feelings of confusion and frustration at times mirror her own.
As a writer myself I think that’s a fantastic way to remain true to your story and characters and to pull your readers in vividly to your book. Compelling, enjoyable, dynamic, with a villain I cannot wait to see destroyed, I am so excited to see what happens next for these two.”
