“I really feel like this could be a good book.. BUT her naivety is a little annoying at times and the book just ends in a random scene.. like so random I thought I missed something.”
“The pacing took a while to pick up for me, with the stakes not feeling high or urgent enough until the last 100 pages or so. The FMC is an insufferable, selfish brat, but I do enjoy the MMC and a few other characters. I like the premise and I'm curious about how things develop, but I'm just not feeling eager to start Book 2 because I'm not rooting for the FMC at this point.”
