“What I liked was the references to the original Peter Pan story and I was interested in James’s story and seeing what comes of it. If it wasn’t for that I probably would’ve DNF’d this. Reading this it just felt too much like those old Wattpad fan fiction stories I read as a tween and I’ve also learned I’m not a dark romance kind of person so I’m not sure if I will be reading any of the other books in the Never After series which is a shame because I did like the book covers! I also very much did not like Wendy. Probably one of the most bland FMC I’ve read about in a while. “i went into this book not knowing much about it and i will say that i’m happy i did so. i honestly didn’t think that i would like it that much but i couldn’t have been more wrong. this book was everything i wanted from a book and more. the characters…amazing. there were some plot twists that i had predicted as i was reading but it encouraged me to keep reading to see how the author would play everything out. i highly recommend this book to anyone that wants a dark romance!!”Descriptive writingAddictiveTwistyDarkViolence

“This book was great. It honestly saddens me that this book gets less attention than Twisted Love. Hook (James Barrie) gives me Aaron Warner meets Zade Meadows meets Alex Volkov vibes which gives his character that alluring lethal beauty. The connections to the movie is subtle details (Crocodile Tick, Tinkerbell’s jealousy, character behavior) made the book all the more engaging. There were some areas of the book that were underdeveloped but the plot twist and the energy of the book overall made up for those areas that I felt weren’t don’t justice.
