“Would never have predicted that weird turn. I feel as though there was loads going on all at once and i found myself forgetting about what had happened to then later on it being bought up again and being shocked. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. But it was hard to keep up. It was a great read, still”

“A fast-paced and entertaining journey of intrigue, mystery, and intelligence grace these pages. Just as their namesakes, Brendan Holmes thinks logically and rather enjoys rattling his prey as he searches for control; Margaret Marple has a passion for human nature, & August Poe seems to lurk and live in the shadows of life and it's offerings. As well-rounded characters, these Private Investigators search for truth outside of their personal struggles & the reader often becomes entranced with their cases. We root for their success, healing and happiness and are left hopeful. Cleverly written and developed, this book is wonderful for the mystery fan in general and specifically for those of Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple and Edgar Allen Poe.”
