Publisher Description

Can a summer fling turn into true love?

Kelly Tanaka is back! She's playing university hockey and having a blast. After a painful breakup, her new dating philosophy is: "Avoid, avoid, avoid." Unfortunately her summer job at a hockey camp in the middle of nowhere has garnered her a lot of unwelcome admirers, but she can handle an excess of testosterone.

James Frechette has just been taken third overall in the NHL draft. He's successful because he focuses on hockey and nothing else 24/7. So his challenge for the summer is to have a social life—but he's clueless about women. Then he meets Kelly. She's the opposite of his ideal woman, but he can't stop thinking about her.

Will James be able to overcome his awkwardness and convince Kelly to take a chance on him—for real?

Hockey Is My Boyfriend, Part Two Reviews

3.5
“This was interesting. It takes you all the way from when they were children, till University. So it also went from being a YA to a NA with a healthy dash of erotica thrown in. It was nice to see everyone mature etc. However, my big gripe is that Kelly didn't really mature for me. She still sounded 14 when she was going off to University. She was hot headed, naive and impulsive. I liked her for the majority of the book, but I never fullllllly connected with her, because she still read as 14 to me. But that might have been due to the first person narrative. Though I didn't seem to have that problem with Phil. I liked Phil. I liked the hockey element. I will read the next one.”
