Hispanic Star en español: Ellen Ochoa Reviews

5.0
“I love throwing in some biographies and I was so excited to read all about Sylvia Rivera. Meet trans activist Sylvia Rivera and learn all about her upbringing, the hardships she faced, and her amazing role in the LGBTQ+ rights movement. I really appreciate the way this book is laid out. Not only does the reader learn about a very influential person, but they also receive other tidbits of knowledge throughout. From sharing a paragraph about Transphobia to being introduced to other individuals like Marsha P. Johnson.”
