“If I could give this book no stars I would. The characters were not properly developed. Their relationship was unbelievable because they barely knew one another. Eric is introducing Dinah to his daughters basically the day he meets her. He is inviting her into surgery with him before he knows she is a nurse. He's a surgeon/forest rescuer/helicopter pilot/rock climber...I mean, someone can have interests and hobbies, but he has several "hobbies" that are actually full time jobs. Like, what happens if there is a emergency rescue needed and both the doctors needed to organize and take part in it are on shift at the hospital? Both characters were very frustrating. And the twins? They were referred to as not being spoiled, but the behavior described in the book was what I would expect from kids never told, "no."”
