“When I started reading this. I thought the book seemed familar. Then I realised it was because I had read Lucy's sister Ellie's story. As both share a similar beginning.
Lucy is the younger sister of Ellie. And she goes to her sisters work to surprise her with a meal out. As it's her sisters 30th birthday.
This is where she meets Ellie's boss Michael. And the attraction between them is immediate. As Michael's brother is in the office the 4 of them go out to lunch. Everything is fine until it's time for Lucy to read the menu. Too ashamed of her secret that she is dyslexic. As it's caused so many problems in her life. She ends up having what Michael has.
The relationship between them is very hot and heavy. With a few bumps in the road, with regard to Lucy's past with men.
I really felt for Lucy. Her dyslexia had far reaching effects in her life. She had lost both men and jobs to it. Even so she still believed in princes until they turned into frogs.
She believed she would never marry as she didn't want to pass her disability onto her children.
I was so glad when a Lucy and Michael got there happy ending.”
