“So Grace comes back to Golden to help her mom. Deke is there to check on a lead about the guy her mom is with. For some reason, both of them (unwillingly) are finding themselves attracted to each other.
Grace's family is really annoying. It took over half the book to not find her whole family horrible. By the end I think they really grew into a better family.
Deke is trying to get over his past and help his family. Things go south for Grace and her family.
It's a roller coaster I did not see coming. At first I was sad that Deke's stuff got pushed aside, but love how the story turned out. I love books where I start out not sure about the characters and end up being sad the story is over.”
