“Finding love and home I loved this single mom, friends to soulmates sweet holiday romance. It had the perfect balance of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, and big feels. All the family goodness and holiday warmth packed into the story made my heart so happy. Nick is a pilot in Alaska and finally got his dream job as a pilot in Hawaii but first he has to have lasik surgery. Emily is a widow and a single mom to Max, a 6th grader, and Lyla, a 4th grader. Her deceased husband was Nick’s best friend and Nick spent holidays and other celebrations with them. Since Nick cannot fly for a bit, he agrees to be the manny for Emily while her MIL takes a much needed vacation. As they spend time together taking care of the kids and the house and Nick gets involved in small town life, the dynamic shifts between Nick and Emily. To get to their HEA, they’ll need to do some truth telling and life course rearranging but the journey there is full of heartwarming goodness. The story was well written and included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, big feels and a captivating storyline. I am looking forward to reading more in the series.”

About Beth Carpenter

Beth Carpenter grew up on a farm reading everything she could get her hands on, from cereal boxes to the encyclopedia. Saturday visits to the library were the highlight of her week. Due to motion sickness, she couldn't read on the school bus so she made up her own stories instead. She still consumes books like popcorn and loves to create happy endings for her imaginary friends. She believes dogs, books, and laughter are key to happiness. And dark chocolate. And love.
