Hickory, Dickory, Death!

When a wealthy theatrical producer is found stabbed to death in his study, the house is full of suspects. There's the jilted actor who just had a vicious quarrel with the deceased, the embezzling business manager, and the ever-present butler.

A series of bizarre clues—a fallen statue, a stolen ring hidden in a grandfather clock, and a convenient trail of blood—all seem to point to an obvious culprit. But when an astute amateur detective arrives on the scene, he quickly realizes that nothing is as it seems.

The killer was clever, leaving behind a web of misdirection designed to frame an innocent man.
