“Loved these short stories about heroes and I look forward to reading the book for his son as well. Enjoyed reading about some new, to me, people that are an important part of history.”

“As others have said, it's different than most books in its genre (history of cool women who do awesome things). It's more about the feelings the women inspire than their exact history. But it's very sweet.”

“This was great! I liked the short snippets about people I knew about and people I didn't about. The next day, I read Heroes for My Son, and I was a little disappointed that there was some overlap -- some of the same people (and even some of the same word-for-word descriptions).”
