Q: Do I have to buy the ebook to participate in a book club?

No, you don’t have to buy the ebook to participate, but we do recommend it to get the most out of your club. There are several premium social reading features that are only available when you buy the ebook, like annotations, reactions, comment threads, resources, discussion prompts, and more, all embedded right in the text. It’s a unique and immersive way to read.

Q: Why can’t I buy the ebook on the app?

It’s annoying, we know. App store rules prevent us from selling directly in the app, so for now you can only purchase ebooks on our website. Don’t worry: when you purchase an ebook on the web, it’s automatically added to your bookshelf in the app.

Q: How is Fable’s reader different from Kindle?

Kindle is a straightforward e-reader; Fable is an interactive e-reader that includes social features inside the ebooks. When you read an ebook on Fable, you can see and react to the text with others in real time. Start a discussion, share highlights and quotes, add emoji reactions—all of it lives right inside the book. It’s hard to explain and easy to see, so we recommend reading the free sample in one of our most active clubs to get a feel for it.

Q: Do you sell physical books too?

Q: Are book clubs free to join on Fable?

Most of our clubs are completely free to join. The only exceptions are clubs marked as “Premium” or “Career Development,” which do require a fee. You can find out more on each club’s detail page.

Q: How do I start a book club with this book on Fable?

The first step is to download the Fable app. From there, you’ll be able to create your own private or public book club and invite others to read with you. Once your club is created, click on the plus sign under “Currently reading” and search for this book to add it to your club.

“Another fantastic read for me by one of my favorites! I loved Evan and Addie and Sawyer is a complete scene stealer. The banter and the humor were great and a perfect addition to the storyline. Both Evan’s and Addie’s backstory were written really well and they way Addie and Evan were able to overcome their histories and find happiness made for a wonderful read. Jill’s stories never miss for me!”

“Addie Ricci is under a time constraint when it comes to renovating her family's B and B in Colorado. She is limited as to what help she can get, so when her high school sweetheart Evan Hawke agrees to lend a hand, Addie's heart is soon on the line. If not for a secret that could deter any promise of a future, Addie and Evan could possibly have another chance. Both Addie and Evan had been dealt a bad hand in life, circumstances that have caused a lot of unhappiness. Addie has found her own happiness in a way, and that is with her young son Sawyer. However, something happened while they were teens and it is something she is more than reticent to share with Evan. With Evan, he suffered a truly painful loss as a teen. It took him a long time to recover but he has made a fine life for himself. For Evan and Addie to be able to move forward together, the pair must be able to forgive themselves - and each other. With Sawyer along for the ride, it is an incredibly sweet journey. Her Hidden Hope is the fourth book in the Colorado Grooms series, but it was an easy read as a standalone. I am someone who enjoys series, and so when time permits, I would love to go back and read the prior stories, and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Raising Honor, scheduled for release in July. “Her Hidden Hope by Jill Lynn has wonderful characters that kept drawing me back to the story. Jill’s characters are flawed in a way that makes them so relate-able, believable, and lovable. Addi Ricci, our heroine, is likable and shares her heart through her flaws. Evan Hawke, our hero, has not been dealt an easy life, but he continues to press into the Lord and has made the best of his situations. He is a hero you want to stand next to, especially since he does not see himself as a hero. Jill Lynn has wonderful dialogue and scenes that I still am playing out in my head. The story centers around redemption and forgiveness. Being willing to change what you are thinking about a situation and see things with God’s eyes. Her Hidden Hope is a great story that I highly recommend. I was given an Advanced Readers Copy by the publisher and not required to write a positive review.”
