Q: Do I have to buy the ebook to participate in a book club?

No, you don’t have to buy the ebook to participate, but we do recommend it to get the most out of your club. There are several premium social reading features that are only available when you buy the ebook, like annotations, reactions, comment threads, resources, discussion prompts, and more, all embedded right in the text. It’s a unique and immersive way to read.

Q: Why can’t I buy the ebook on the app?

“This is a really cute contemporary cowboy romance. Tess is trying to get her life back together after a less than wonderful marriage and the death of her husband. She is absolutely convinced that she doesn't need to rely on anyone but herself and now that she's moved back to Three Springs, she can be the one her family can count on for absolutely anything. When she and Carter Sloan, local cowboy & whiskey distillery owner, are thrown together to fix a wedding gone wrong, the sparks fly and they both resist, refusing to see how anything could ever work between them. The town of Three Springs is so delightful. Loads of meddling older folks, a general store, farmers market, etc. make this a great backdrop for such a sweet romance. I loved that the feelings seemed to build little by little for both Tess and Carter. I do think this book could have been a little bit shorter since parts of the middle felt repetitive, but overall, a sweet escape! Thank you to the author and Just Read Tours for my complimentary copy of this book. All opinions here are my own.”

“Weddings, cowboys and treasures – oh my! This story had everything I wanted in it and more. Second chance romance, wedding plans in shambles, buried treasure, family disputes, and even an important lesson. Webb reminds readers (through Tessa) that we can’t push our dreams on someone else. We need to respect and understand that what’s right for us, isn’t right for our friends. They have different opinions. Different dreams. And that is absolutely okay. The chemistry between Tess and Carter was great. They fed off each other, and were able to point out each other’s weaknesses. I’m glad Webb wrote them like this – open, honest, real. Too often in sweet novels it seems like the characters keep things to themselves, or just keep things “nice”. I don’t like that, because I think they should be raw and honest and real. Tess and Carter were the perfect match, not only relationship wise, but wedding planning wise. They made each other stop and think about big picture, small picture, and everywhere in between. Webb adds in a fun family dynamic between Carter’s grandfather and uncle. It added another layer of depth to the story I certainly wasn’t expecting, but found that it really enhanced the reading experience. And life lesson of course – the importance of communication. There is a little bit of everything packaged inside this sweet novel. Contemporary romance fans will enjoy seeing Tess and Carter make their way through the fun and not so fun parts of planning a wedding! I received a complimentary copy of this book.
