“I got this book through NetGalley. This was a beautiful retelling of the life of Hecate. I have read a lot of myths retelling of many gods but this is the first I have read of Hekate. I love how the author gave her a voice,l. It made me think about Hekate as the person and not just as the mother of witchcraft. The author did an excellent job of giving background information of what molded Hekate, from her mother, her aunt Styx, to Hades, Zeus, Hermes, and most importantly Thanatos! Love the play with Thanatos as the love interest.”
