No, you don’t have to buy the ebook to participate, but we do recommend it to get the most out of your club. It’s a unique and immersive way to read.

Q: Why can’t I buy the ebook on the app?

“I love that we got to see more growth in Lyra and Roark's bond, and especially love that we didn't have to go through half a book of miscommunication to get it! I loved Lyra exploring more of her dark side, and Roark delighting in every minute of it. Plus the spicy scenes?? Yes, please. I'm also impressed that I felt connected to every single side character, which usually doesn't happen. They somehow all got their moment and it made for an even better story. Thank you to Netgalley for my copy!”

““Because all of me is consumed by you.” I was consumed by this book! Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for this eARC. The conclusion to Lyra and Roark’s story was so epically good and addicting! I could not put it down. Through the lies and deceit they are still so devoted to one another. I ate up every second of it. I loved watching their bond grow deeper and stronger on their journey to save their kingdoms. Every side character is amazing and gives so much to the story. I wish I could read a book on every character! Roark is so hot 🥵 and I agree with Lyra when she says “Gods, why must he be so grotesquely wonderful?” Not only is Roark swoon worthy… but I was loving Skul Drek 🫠🫠🫠🫠 I can’t say more without spoiling! “I received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. 5/5 ⭐️ 3/5 🌶️ “Roark Ashwood. My hunter. My protector. My lover. My liar.” When we left off in book one, Roark had broken Lyra’s heart in order to save her life. I could not wait to read book two. It. Did. Not. Disappoint. I have never loved a disability rep more than I do with Roark Ashwood. The hand speak is everything. This book expands the plot more with political intrigue and exploration of the different magic. We get an amazing found family and I loved the cast of characters. I’m not a girl who loves excessive spice but let me tell you, the spicy scenes just had me swooning and kicking my feet. I haven’t loved an MMC like Roark/Skul Drek in quite some time. This shadow daddy checked all the boxes for me!! If you loved book one, you will absolutely devour book two!! Tap. Tap. Tap. “Arc Copy Absolutely. Yes. Broken Souls and Bones was already a smash hit for me so I was pumped to get my hands on Heir of Twisted Lies. This story has all the well thought out lore and thrilling plot twists you would expect from an LJ Novel. I absolutely love the unique craft in this world. It’s so aggressive and haunting. I love the concept of Skul Drek and the violence he brings. As always LJ knows how to make a spectacular morally dark gray MMC and there isn’t a line Roark wouldn’t cross for Lyra. Also spicy shadow daddy scenes we get in this book y’all 👀👀 Flabbergasted. Jaw on the ground. That’s how you use a shadow daddy 👏🏻 The stakes are high, the world is expanding and she delivers on a gory conclusion. I’m so sad that this story ties up Lyra x Roark but I’m so hopeful for more stories in this world especially from Thane or Gunter!
