“I absolutely loved this one too. Since this comes from a series , I already had met Zachary in book one when he was teaching the homeschooling group. So now we get to learn more about why he is single, his love for kids and his past a little more.
When Jordan shows up at Zachary's ranch for lessons for her son Nicholas , she didn't know he was the owner. She instantly realized she would need to tell him the truth about "their son" and deal with the consequences of holding the secret for over a decade. When Zachary is finally told about it, their already shaky relationship turns much worse as the anger he had for her grows. They BOTH broke each others hearts over 10 years ago, and now they are both going to have to share custody of their son Nicholas. MUCH of the book is navigating the pain they inflicted on each other in the past, and trying to be cordial in person for their son.. but also fighting the feelings for each other that never left. This is a REALLY good story and once again, I love the homeschooling vibe in it as well. And how they embrace Nicholas's need to learn differently and at his own pace. Wonderful, wonderful book... On to the next one!!!”
