“This is one of my favorites, girl meets boy, they slowly fall in love and then something bad happens. I love how the events play out. From the beach volleyball game, to the ferry interacting, to the sitting at the rooftop as a group. “I’m not a huge fan of Colleen Hoover but I wanted to try a cute, quick summer read and that’s exactly what it was. This book won’t change your life but it’s definitely cute. I loved the whole setting on the beach and the summer vibes. I loved watching the main characters grow and heal from their past. “I loved the characters & the plot twister 🥰. I liked how I kinda felt for Beyah on the whole “father not being there”. I feel like a lot people or young girls can relate. It just makes you realize how much you want or crave the affection of family.
