"Healing Mushrooms: A Practical and Culinary Guide to Using Mushrooms for Whole Body Health" by Tero Isokauppila is an absolute gem for anyone interested in the world of medicinal mushrooms. As someone who has been using Lion's Mane & Chaga for some time, I found this book incredibly informative and to the point. It truly is THE book for beginners!
I've been using Chaga tea inconsistently for a long time, but after understanding its benefits through this book, I've ordered a dual-extracted Chaga that I'm so excited about. Additionally, I'm looking forward to adding Tremella, Reishi, Turkey Tail, and Cordyceps to my life, thanks to the comprehensive information provided.
This book is packed with so much great information. I'm hooked and eager to learn all about healing mushrooms. It introduces you to ten medicinal mushrooms, includes a few recipes, and provides guidance on where and how to buy medicinal mushrooms. It's short, to the point, and full of practical recipes and uses. While it's not super comprehensive, it's a fantastic starting point.
The author does an excellent job of explaining the uses of ten powerhouse mushrooms, making it easy for anyone to understand their health benefits and applications. What I particularly loved were the real-world examples he provided for each mushroom. These practical insights make it so much easier to see how you can incorporate these powerful fungi into your daily life.”
About Tero Isokauppila
