“To be completely honest, I was hoping for a more emotional kick when I pick an Ashley Herring Blake book, but this was still enjoyable.
One thing that I have to complain though is that all her middle grade evokes the same vibes, characters and plot. Sometimes it just feels like she has the same ideas and decides to change some details here and there so this is starting to be a little bit repetitive...”
