Hate Inc. Reviews

“This book validated every fear I’ve had about the media and politics — fears that they are intentionally misleading us and actively deepening divisions across the country. After reading Hate Inc., I genuinely don’t know how we come back from this level of manipulation. Hearing a seasoned journalist confirm that media outlets intentionally target information to us based on our political leanings — feeding our confirmation bias — solidified suspicions I’ve held for years. I’m sure we have also had these suspicions. It’s not about informing anymore; it’s about keeping us outraged, addicted, and divided. On purpose. @mtaibbi delivers about 12 hours of sharp, sarcastic, dry-witted commentary on the unsettling reality of modern media and political narratives. I appreciate his candor, transparency, and sarcasm- it was pretty funny. Everyone should read or listen to this book. It’s eye-opening, uncomfortable, and exactly the kind of perspective we need if we’re ever going to start thinking critically again. Don’t take the media at face value — start asking why you’re being shown what you’re being shown.”
