Hard Times Require Furious Dancing Reviews

“I enjoyed this collection of poetry by Alice Walker. The last poem in particular really stuck with me because it aligned so much with where I’m at in life. But overall this was an enjoyable read, and there were lots of lines that made me pause and reflect which I appreciated.”
“This was worth the read as I dive into African American authors. The layout of the poetry makes each piece seem short, but I found that re-reading/thinking on each piece helped to really dissect some parts. While I do enjoy poetry, there were a few pieces that I have not connected with simply because I have not experienced them personally, and that’s okay.”
