About Svetolik Rankovic
Svetolik Rankovic (1863-1899) jedan je od najznacajnijih predstavnika psiholoskog realizma u srpskoj knjizevnosti. Rodjen je u Velikoj Mostanici, nedaleko od Beograda. U Kijevu je zavrsio Duhovnu akademiju (bogoslovsko-filozofske nauke sa istorijom ruske i svetske knjizevnosti). U svom kratkom zivotnom veku, objavio je tri romana i dvadesetak pripovedaka. Preminuo je od tuberkuloze 1899. u Beogradu.
