“Don’t think Diana has heard of “show, don’t tell”. Bloody hell this was boring. Unfortunately, I have invested too much of my time in this series to quit now.”
“I enjoyed this book, but also feel that I’m ready for Diana to end the series. It’s a weird where the books are all well written, but they don’t feel as new anymore. New plots start feeling similar to old plots and such. Like, when they were like “oh no, Jamie is supposed to die at this battle,” and I’m like, aw like he was at Culloden and then in the house fire? I doubt it, and congrats, I was correct. I do find the extra time travelers storyline fascinating as well as little David potentially not being one. I don’t necessarily want or need an explanation on all the intricacies of how it works but am intrigued where Diana will take that storyline. My hope for this series is that we’ll get some poignant ending for Claire and Jamie as well as Ian, Rachel, Fergus and Marsali. Admittedly, I could care less about Bri and Roger is growing on me a little.”
