“I definitely enjoyed some of these stories more than others. The Skin of Her Teeth 4/5- the premise was interesting and information that was introduced felt like it was done in a way that flowed well. I loved the ending in particular. The Dark Brothers Last Ride 2.5/5- I found that I didn’t like the Dark brothers in a general sense which made it hard to be invested. The way things were revealed in this story felt like an info dump, and while there was a couple things I liked, overall I didn’t care for this one. This Book Belongs to Olo 3/5- this just made me sad. It was interesting in terms of building the lore of these stories, but I don’t think I’ll really remember this one. The Story 4.5/5- this one was my favorite. I love this concept and even though I would have read a whole novel based on this story, it works really well as a short story instead. The stories have small Easter egg references to each other, and I like Malfi’s writing style overall.”
“It was fine, maybe I’m just not a short horror anthology type girl…the last story was the most interesting but this took me forever to finish because it was kinda boring in the beginning and middle 😅”
Surprised Face with Open Mouth“Overall, all these stories proved what the cover says…BOOKS CAN BE DEADLY! Every story was beautifully written and immersive. Nobody writes Horror like Ronald Malfi!”
