“Beautifully written book. There is no plot to speak of really but an excellent character driven novel.
The book within a book was new to me and a format I enjoyed.
The writing was beautiful and so descriptive (Visiting Japan is already on my bucket list, but this book has just made me more determined to make it happen within the next couple of years!).
I loved the characters of Kyo and Ayako but didn't feel as 'attached' to Flo. Her character/story lacked something for me. Hence, only 4 stars.
Still highly recommend it.”
