“The only thing sexier than a man falling in love with a woman is a man bestowing kindness on her children. Sari is a widow and mother of two toddler boys when she meets Damon, who is younger than her and with no thoughts of settling down. When a losing bet means that Damon gets to babysit Jacob and Benny, he starts to wonder if his future might look a little different than he’d planned, and Sari sees a caring side of him she didn’t expect. I loved that Sari and Damon were very different from each other, with different expectations and life experiences, but they seemed to fit together perfectly. He is more casual and easy-going, she is more rigid and serious—they balance each other out and give each other new ways of looking at things. As sweet as they are as a couple, it was the scenes with Damon and the boys that melted my heart. There is such tenderness when the four of them play together, read together, are affectionate with each other, and especially when they play super heroes! Fortune’s Fatherhood Dare will leave you with a lump in your throat and a big smile on your face.”
