“This really exceeded my expectations, I actually rarely cry at books but the ending of this one got to me. Explores so many important themes of family, guilt and the importance of remembering. It's a very realistic portrayal of what it can be like growing up in a conservative town, it's heartbreaking to see the main character wonder if her parents will ever accept her and the choices she makes because of this.
