“I truly love this world and story, and I love that Flora is a Hadraada as well as a Fydraaca. I also KNEW that the Butcher Brakespeare wasn’t dead. I didn’t expect Flora to meet Nini Mo so soon, though. I expected it to be a despaired moment in the final book where Flora has a moment of terrible disillusionment and has to overcome that. But I loved every moment of this book, but Udo’s side plot felt wrong. Their relationship felt transactional the entire book, and I never trusted Axacaya, nor was I comfortable with their romance considering their age difference. Otherwise, I really liked this one and I would also own this book.”
