“Thinking about making your ex-husband regret his betrayal only to consider taking him back? Stupid idea. I could understand Reese still having feelings for him, but actually entertaining the thought of reconciling—thankfully, she eventually found her brain.
What I really loved, though, was Ben. His sarcasm and wit were the perfect foil to Reese’s sharp tongue, and their banter was such a highlight. Watching their working relationship shift into a genuine friendship and then slowly into something more felt authentic and earned. They helped each other grow through their struggles, and that natural progression made their romance deeply satisfying.”
