Publisher Description

Secrets prove deadly in book two of the Burn for Burn trilogy from New York Times bestselling author of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (soon to be a major motion picture!), Jenny Han, and New York Times bestselling author of The List, Siobhan Vivian.

Lillia, Kat, and Mary had the perfect plan. Work together in secret to take down the people who wronged them. But things didn’t exactly go the way they’d hoped at the Homecoming Dance.

Not even close.

For now, it looks like they got away with it. All they have to do is move on and pick up the pieces, forget there was ever a pact.

But there is something seriously wrong with sweet, little Mary. If she can’t control her anger, she’s sure someone will get hurt. Mary understands now that it’s not just that Reeve bullied her—it’s that he made her love him.

It seems once a fire is lit, the only thing you can do is let it burn…

“WHAT!!?? That ending though!!! Will review once my thoughts can function.”
“I enjoyed this audiobook! It's a very quick read. The three different POVs keeps the story interesting especially because the three main girls are all so unique. I am still very confused at what actually happened in the end... well, now time to check out the third book to find out”
“4.5 stars OH MY GOD, THIS BOOK. I definitely feel like this book was a step up from the last book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I feel like this time around the plot was a bit more well developed and more thought out than the previous books. There was also some really good character development and especially love the friendship between Kat, Lilia and Mary because I didn't quite remember the dynamics from the last book. This book was so intriguing and had a clear direction in which way it was going. BUT THE ENDING. It took me by complete surprise and I had to reread the last few chapters numerous times to fully grasp what was going on. I did NOT expect that to happen and honestly, it left me a bit speechless. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because of Lilia. This time around I found her character rather annoying and I did NOT like the decisions she made towards the end of the book. The authors did a fabulous job writing this book and I really enjoyed their writing style. Kat was definitely my favourite character in this book and Alex was right behind her. Although I can't exactly relate to this book as nothing like this happens at my school but I ended up sympathising with Rennie towards the end. I absolutely HATE Reeve although I do like the character portrayal by the authors as at some times they did manage to get me to sympathize with him. I do not agree with the idea of revenge, however, i thought this book was phenomenal and I definitely recommend it.”
