“Things felt a bit rushed.
Yvonne being tangled in a love triangle throughout the entire book didn't feel authentic. I wish we got a chance to know more about the characters- a majority of the book was spent reminiscing on a mom who abandoned the family and a dad who was barely home. Yvonne's feelings were very much valid but it felt like she was scared to give the readers intimate details about her life and true feelings about everything.”
