“If you can tolerate even more of Finder Wyvernspur's arrogance, this one isn't bad, and to his credit Finder has been at least somewhat humbled by his experiences fighting Moander.
The story goes all over the place, and characters appear and disappear as the plot demands. The whole detour into Kara-Tur's pantheon seemed entirely unnecessary, but at least it was considerably less racist in its portrayal than some other entries in the series.
The story does end rather abruptly with minimal wrap-up. One character literally just flying off into the astral plane because reasons.
Overall, not the worst romp in the Realms and beyond, but definitely not one of the better ones.”
