“Find Her Alive by Lisa Regan was another incredibly engaging installment in the Josie Quinn Series that I simply could not put down. From the very beginning, the pacing and tension pulled me in, and I found myself constantly wanting to read “just one more chapter.”
As someone who has loved crime and investigative stories since I was young — especially shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, and S.W.A.T.—this series has been such a satisfying read for me. The suspense, investigative process, and twists make it exactly the kind of crime mystery I enjoy most. I’ve been flying through the books in this series and actually started the next one immediately after finishing this.
One small thing I found myself wishing for was a slightly deeper exploration of the multiple personality disorder aspect that appeared in the story. I was curious about how the perpetrator may have been influenced by or connected to that condition, and whether it played a more meaningful role in the motivations behind the crime. It also felt like the resolution moved a bit quickly, and we don’t really see what consequences or punishment the perpetrator ultimately faces, which left me a little curious about that final outcome. That said, this didn’t significantly impact my overall reading experience.
Overall, it was still a gripping, fast-paced thriller that kept me fully invested from start to finish. If you enjoy crime, mystery, and strong investigative storylines, this is absolutely a series worth picking up. I’m already well into the next book and can’t wait to see where the story goes next.”About Lisa Regan
