“From reading the entire series I learned my lesson: leave Young Adult Fantasy alone. Nora was the type of main character that was stubborn, damsel in distress, but magically all her issues got solved.
Throughout this series, the books had an interesting beginning, BORING middle, and rushed ending (almost like the author had forgotten the book needed to end soon and loose ends needed to be tied up). This was very predominant in this book as well.
This series is okay if you're like 13-16 years of age. Anything older than 18? Ignore this LOL.”

“WOW. The way the series stepped up big time for this final instalment of the series. The character development in this was beyond amazing. I feel like Patch erases all the previous hate everyone holds for him in this book and he becomes such a charming and protective love interest. I HATE that he wasn’t in it more. And omg, the tears I shed at the end. Come on!! Just as I finally start to develop a real love for Scott you go and actually kill him off?! And not only that, but he literally dies saving Nora. Like sorry? NOOOOO. Really hits in the feels, but you know what, as heartbreaking and mad as I am, a part of me appreciates Fitzpatrick actually adding some stakes to the book and following through on them because I rarely see that in fantasies nowadays.”
