“David Carr was just a tremendous journalist and critic. His was an important voice expressing a non-partisan but solidly pro-worker perspective. His pieces on the AIDS crisis are, 30+ years later, still deeply affecting and his writing on addiction is powerful testimony.
Unfortunately (and I feel like a complete monster for saying this) Final Draft features a number of columns devoted to his family life which are, almost entirely, unsubstantial and unremarkable.
