“this was a highly helpful book, and a worthwhile read for any american. as someone concerned about the present state of essentially everything in the us, this was affirming of the anxiety i feel, but also reassuring that we can move past this time. i think this is an extremely helpful read for anyone feeling similarly, and even anyone who doesn’t see a problem due to the highly moving statistics shared. sanders does an excellent job addressing readers, and providing undeniable facts proving that things are not okay, but could be someday.”

About Senator Bernie Sanders
Bernie Sanders is the longest-serving independent in congressional history. In 2016 and 2020 he sought the Democratic Party’s nomination for President of the United States. He served as mayor of Burlington, Vermont, for eight years, U.S. Representative to Congress for sixteen years, and is now in his fourth term in the U.S. Senate. He lives in Burlington with his wife, Jane, and has four children and seven grandchildren.
