Harry Bolick has for the last thirty years been a fiddler, performer, and recording artist. He is coauthor (with Stephen T. Austin) of Mississippi Fiddle Tunes and Songs from the 1930s, published by University Press of Mississippi. Harry Bolick has for the last thirty years been a fiddler, performer, and recording artist. He is coauthor (with Stephen T. Austin) of Mississippi Fiddle Tunes and Songs from the 1930s, published by University Press of Mississippi.

Evans taught at California State University, Fullerton, and the University of Memphis, where he retired as professor of music emeritus.
