“This book was a 3 star for me up until the final third of the book. That is what made this book more of a 3.5 stars. In this last section, I really was reminded of how much I adored the first instalment. I was reminded of the fear and the almost twisted fairytale aspect of it all.
I have no clue how this series is going to wrap up, and I love that. I love some of the characters a whole lot and wish that they had more page-time (Linden is definitely top of that list at the minute).
Super looking forward to the next and final book. Definitely think this book suffered from the classic sequel syndrome, but once I got through the slump I was in, I really enjoyed the ending.”
